Learning to build websites helps kids develop problem-solving, design, and communication skills while gaining confidence with technology. In this workshop, students will build and optimize a website using HTML, CSS, and beginner-friendly tools. They’ll work with real-life case studies from actual businesses to gain hands-on experience, guided by Master Coaches who build sites for real clients. This gives students valuable exposure to real-world situations as they create projects they can proudly share.

Safety

We encourage parents to discuss technology safety with their youth. Our workshop begins by exploring the positive and negative aspects of technology and emphasizes why staying safe online is so important.

The Curriculum

ON SITE: We don’t believe in reinventing the wheel or relying on just one program. Instead, we carefully select top-rated, affordable curriculums—usually $20 to $60 or sometimes free—that students can work through at their own pace with peer support. After purchasing a curriculum, students join us at the Loft for guided, hands-on learning. When they finish a program, a Master Coach helps them apply their skills through real-world projects.

ON LINE: For online options (curriculum included with price) we prefer all students follow the same curriculum at the same time. This allows our Master Coaches to guide them fully with clear, step-by-step support, as peer interaction is more challenging in a virtual setting.

Attention Homeschool Groups
If you’d like to bring your youth to our after-school workshops, please contact us directly to reserve a spot for your group.

Snacks

Your children/youth are welcome to bring their own snacks and water to the workshop. Please remind them not to share snacks, as some children may have allergies. We’ll also keep a small supply of snacks for sale in case they forget theirs — just let us know about any food restrictions.

What if I can’t make it on time to pick up my youth?
We understand that things happen, and delays are sometimes unavoidable. However, The Loft charges a $25.00 per hour fee for students who are not picked up on time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Montly payment

Workshops are billed once a month on the first day of each month.

1 Week Cancellations

We ask that you please cancel at least one week before the workshop starts to receive a full refund or credit, as we need to plan for personnel, and other details. After 1 Week, your payment will be credited toward a future workshop. Additionally, if another child—such as someone from a homeschool group—takes the place of the original participant, we can provide a full refund. Thank you for your understanding and support.
