Overview 

Content creation is a fun and exciting way for kids to express themselves and share their ideas with the world. In this workshop, youth will learn how to create podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media content using easy-to-follow tools and techniques. They’ll explore storytelling, editing, and online safety while building skills in communication and creativity. By the end, students will have their own original content ready to share and the confidence to keep creating.

Safety 

We encourage parents to discuss technology safety with their youth. Our workshop begins by exploring the positive and negative aspects of technology and emphasizes why staying safe online is so important.

The Curriculum

We don’t believe in reinventing the wheel or relying on a single curriculum. Instead, we research and select highly rated programs that students can follow at their own pace, supported by their peers. These curriculums are affordable—typically between $20 to $60 or less, and sometimes even free. Once a parent purchases the curriculum, students stop by the Loft for this after-school workshop. When students complete a curriculum, a Master Coach guides them through real-life projects to apply what they’ve learned. Every student advances at a pace that’s right for them.

Who are the Master Coaches?

Students will work through the curriculum at their own pace, with peer support playing a key role in their success. Once they complete the core lessons, they’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled Master Coaches from around the world. Our Master Coaches are highly qualified — graduates of respected universities in their countries or certified by leading organizations like Google, Stanford, and other top tech companies and institutions. Through Zoom sessions, these experts provide the extra guidance students need to strengthen their skills and apply what they’ve learned to real projects.

Attention Homeschool Groups
For homeschool groups, please contact us in advance so we can arrange a session for your group.

Snacks

Your children/youth are welcome to bring their own snacks and water to the workshop. Please remind them not to share snacks, as some children may have allergies. We’ll also keep a small supply of snacks for sale in case they forget theirs — just let us know about any food restrictions.

What if I can’t make it on time to pick up my youth?
We understand that things happen, and delays are sometimes unavoidable. However, The Loft charges a $25.00 per hour fee for students who are not picked up on time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Montly payment

Workshops are billed once a month on the first day of each month.

1 Week Cancellation

We ask that you please cancel at least one week before the workshop starts to receive a full refund or credit, as we need to plan for personnel, and other details.  After 2 Weeks, your payment will be credited toward a future workshop. Additionally, if another child—such as someone from a home school group—takes the place of the original participant, we can provide a full refund. Thank you for your understanding and support.
